Located just outside of Nashville, Indiana is Brown County State Park. This amazing park is a place you will want to visit often as it has so much to offer. Amenities include: picnic shelters, 20 miles of mountain biking trails, 20 miles of hiking trails and 70 miles of horse trails. It opened in 1929 and is rich with native pine, black locust, black walnut and spruce trees. The park is open all year and there are also a lodge for activities. - Zip Line & Arial Adventure Parks-

The Brown County Playhouse Performing Arts Center is managed by the the Brown County Community Foundation (BCCF). The playhouse features live dramatic performances of comedy, dance, the latest films and a variety of musical events. - Winery and Distillery Libations -
Brown County Winery provides customers with high quality local wines, a relaxed atmosphere and an educational and enjoyable experience. They offer complimentary, daily tastings of a variety of dry, semi-sweet and dessert wines made from grapes and berries. When visiting Nashville stop by the downtown tasting room or the winery on State Road 46, where they produce and bottle award-winning wines. If you're interested in sampling local moonshine, Bear Wallow Distillery is the place to go. Made with the first legal still in Brown County, Hidden Holler Moonshine is typical of the kind of whiskey that is known to have been made in southern Indiana illegally since the late 1700's. - Horseback Riding -

When visiting Brown County, In. you'll need a variety of items. If you plan on exploring the national park, hiking shoes are a must. Choose fast drying clothing as there are puddles, rivers and streams for you to splash through. Bug repellent is also a great idea anytime you're spending the day outdoors. Even in the summer, the temperature drops at night and you'll be comfortable if you bring a light jacket or wrap. Don't forget sunscreen and your golf clubs if you will be out on the course.
